He had struggles while growing but was never exposed to the leisure of doing menial jobs to make ends meet for himself and family, this is as a result of the effort put in by his parents to make sure that their children had a good life while growing up.
The Orji family were a total number of Seven, Mr Chukwunonso Orji the father, Mrs Nnenna Orji the mother and the first son Christian Orji and his 4 siblings (1 sister and 3 brothers) namely Amarachi Orji, Breakthrough Orji, Nmesoma Orji and Courage Orji.
Christian completed his secondary school education at "Eritoy College" in the year 2020 at 16 years of age and it was after school life that his music life began.
Early 2023 I was recording with this phone studio app Bandlab and then I made a single track titled "Emergency" that was the best feeling I had in my entire life j finally made my own song.
Later on I met a friend of mine of a Whatsapp group he was asking if there were and artists around in the group, he would love to work with them. Immediately I contacted him and told him I was an artist we exchanged pleasantries and then we started working together.
My single track at the time "Emergency" I had already released it to the world (but now I had it taken down though) I decided to make other songs namely I love you, 2 Seconds and Fall all under my previous name of "Alcohol" into an EP that I titled "18 AND COUNTING" simply because I made that song while I was 18 years of age and I knew I would make more that's the reason for the "counting" on the album name.
I had issues with a copyright name of a Hungarian singer using the same "Alcohol" and my songs were always found under his profile I had to change my name to a different one so that I would be known for who I was.
I began branding to "Emoji" and released 2 single tracks titled "Shenkes" and "Fake Life" those songs are still available though I didn't take them down but yet again unfortunately they were found under another Artists name on Spotify.
Meaning I had to change again.
I searched the web looking for a unique artist name that would blend in the nigerian music scene which only me had access to till I found the name of one of my favorite video game Tiktoker "Lordmoon"
Then I had to start releasing my songs again hereby forfeiting the other ones I had previously put out.
On March 5, 2023 I released Fine (2023 edition) featuring Edison Miracle as Legit Bossz (the same guy I found on that WhatsApp group) he was the producer and together we put it out on the web for my fans to see. I wrote the lyrics and composed the song by myself.
I had so many unreleased songs I wanted to release under my name "Alcohol" but now I decided to send them all out using Lordmoon.
On the 24th of May, 2023 I released my new single "I No Know" on my own which I wrote by myself and distributed under my independent artist brand SWEETSOUNDS Ent which I managed by myself and Legit Bossz.
"Music was not always my calling" said Christan in a discussion with his dad, I wanted to a computer scientist but as time went on I found out that I could juggle both of those careers.
My music life started at my final year in school that was back in 2020, I used to be a close friend to Amah Richard, he was my classmate back then at Eritoy College. He wanted to a musician in fact his favorite artist was Rema, and we usually laughed at him because he wanted to be a musician in a science class.
I used to accompany him sometimes he would write songs and play for the class to listen, it was a good experience because he was talented also. So I used to be like a little manager to him, he would send me his songs and I would listen and dance to it.
What a lovely experience
After school was over November 2020, we all went separate ways but that thought of music never left me. As others would do k tried my luck to get into the university the following year which was 2021 but it failed. I had to sit at home for a whole year doing nothing.
The next year 2022, I was also at home I wasn't yet in school and then my music instincts kicked in, I didn't have money for studio sessions so I found a way to record on my phone on this app I found "Bandlab", it was hard at first. I had to stop it was later by the early beginning of 2023 I picked up that idea again and then it worked.
I feel like I have the perfect balance between my education and my music.
I wouldn't have much references though I can attribute my career success to my friend and manager "Legit Bossz" and also my family members who supported me in my personal life.
